Abstract:

The article is devoted to the consideration of the dictionary in the textual aspect.

In the “author – text – addressee” system, the characteristics of the lexicographer and the dictionary user are given. We are interested in the organization of the dictionary text at both the macro and micro levels from the point of view of the presentation of pragmatic information in it. Analysis of the lexicographic description allows us to consider a dictionary entry as a text with a high degree of compression.

The features of the lexicographic text and markers of pragmatic information in classical lexicographic publications are described in detail using the example of ideologically marked vocabulary.

In modern active-type dictionaries, lexicographers in the structure of a dictionary entry allocate a special zone for presenting pragmatic information (pragm).

A database of pragmatically marked vocabulary is another possible format for the lexicographic representation of a dynamic vocabulary fragment that is difficult to describe, relevant for different types of discourse. The hypertext lexicographic scheme allows you to operate a system of commentary marks and form a corpus of illustrations that adequately reflect pragmatic semantics.

Analysis of dictionary texts of the mid-20th and early 21st century allows us to say that modern lexicography has seriously rethought the principles of describing a pragmatically marked word. Modification of the macro and microstructure of the dictionary text makes it possible to make linguistic elements hidden in the depths of semantics, mobile and difficult to distinguish, explicit and solve a number of important user tasks.
