Abstract: The paper is based on the interviews with Russian and foreign literary translators. Usually literary translators live in the country of the working language and translate the texts and the books into that language or/and write in it. Different aspects of metalinguistic reflection of such contemporary poets as Elena Kostyukovitch, Аnatoly Liberman and Yan Probstein are revealed.
