ArticleName: Creative Pragmatics of Poetic Discourse Authors: Olga V. Sokolova, Ekaterina V. Zakharkiv Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russian Federation
Abstract: The paper defines the concept of poetic discourse with reference to the communicative and discursive approach. It proposes an algorithm for the poetic discourse analysis in the linguistic pragmatic aspect. The article classifies strategies of the discourse markers analysis and emphasizes the significance of studying pragmatic units in poetic discourse. The investigation of the contemporary poetic texts allows us to develop a classification of discourse markers in poetic (andartistic) discourse. The classification consists of three groups including metatextual, contextual and intra- / interpersonal units. The paper explores the use of discourse markers in poetry in comparison with ordinary language. The aim of the study is to highlight the creative basis of poetic pragmatics underling the unconventional functioning of discourse markers. Keywords: discourse analysis, linguistic pragmatics, linguistic poetics, discourse markers, contemporary poetry, linguistic creativity Bibliography: Arutyunova N. D.
